2、歌曲创作背景：2013年7月底的一天，叶圣涛突然接到一个电话，电话来自湖南卫视《爸爸去哪儿》制片组，电话的内容就是：《爸爸去哪儿》导演组想邀请他来创作该节目的同名主题曲。随后导演组便发来了一些节目的相关资料和韩国原版节目的视频。
3、叶圣涛看完资料和视频后，被节目中明星父子之间的流露出来的真挚的父子情所打动，接受了制作该节目主题曲的邀请。歌曲的创作及制作经历了两个月的时间，歌词，歌曲的部分也经过了很多次的调整和修正，最终在9月20日才确定了最终版的词曲。
